The history of HRV Engineering is closely integrated with the rapid and successful expansion of the aluminum industry in Iceland over the last two decades. Throughout this period HRV has participated in all aluminum projects in Iceland as well as in projects outside Iceland, working for many of the world‘s leading aluminum companies and partnering with many of the leading providers of engineering services to the aluminum industry. We are extremely proud of our participation in these projects and the success we have achieved for our clients through our professional strengths and expertise.
Competent staff
HRV builds its strength on a well-educated workforce with a wide range of educational and professional experiences from both sides of the Atlantic. This together with fresh and extensive experience from many recent aluminum projects within Iceland and elsewhere provides technical staff uniquely qualified and prepared to take on complex and challenging projects within the aluminum industry.
Wide range of services
HRV provides a wide range of services for the aluminum industry ranging from Engineering Alliance services with aluminum plants in operation to full scale EPCM service for green-field and brown-field projects of any size. Our staff is fully prepared to take on projects from pre-feasibility through feasibility and execution in close cooperation with our clients.
A strong engineering group
HRV and its holding companies, Mannvit and Verkís, have been active participants in the rapid buildup of infrastructure and industry in Iceland for nearly 90 years and have been involved in virtually every large project within the aluminum industry, power industry or infrastructure within the country. That together with experience from projects abroad has given the group and its workforce unique opportunities to expand its expertise and professional capabilities. Partnering with our holding companies, HRV has the capacity to take on small or large projects within the power industry or infrastructure as well as in the aluminum sector.
